Hey all, finally you can now officially link your Wattle account to
Google Home and Google Assistant.
Think of how beautiful it is that you can just say” Hey Google, turn on lights”, instead of walking to the switch or go into the app. But, keep in mind; some advanced features will still only be available in the Wattle app. Like setting up scenes, time schedules, read statistics, view camera and more.
Here you have some quick tips for what you can do with our Voice integration. Keep in mind, this works for all supported Lightbulbs that works with Wattle.
Control light with Wattle and Voice:
To do this: | Say “Ok Google” or “Hey Google,” then… |
To turn on/off a light | “Turn on <light name>” |
Dim a light | “Dim the <light name>” |
Brighten a light | “Brighten the <light name>” |
Set a light brightness to a certain percentage | “Set <light name> to 50%” |
Dim/Brighten lights by a certain percentage | Dim/Brighten <light name> by 50%” |
Change the color of a light | “Turn <light name> green” |
Turn on/off all lights in room | “Turn on/off lights in <room name>” |
Turn on/off all lights | “Turn on/off all of the lights” |
If you have several smart plugs that works with Wattle for turning on/off coffee machine, iron, chargers and more – you can simply say;
“Hey Google, turn on Coffee machine”
Take your party to the next level
Even better; you can also have the Google assistant to turn of and off a scene you have made. Let’s say a dinner party is going a little slow, then you can have a party scene which id activated by; “Hey Google, set Party scene”
