Connect, WIFI, 2G/3G and reset
To connect the app (phone) to the gateway, do the following.
Before moving on:
*Make sure your phone is connected to the same wireless network as your gateway.
*Follow the connection process as described in the app.
Step 1. Insert the network cable into the gateway and your router.
Step 2. Insert the power cord into your gateway and an outlet.
During startup, the LED (POWER) will flash. It may take up to five minutes before the system is ready. When the gateway is ready to connect to the app, the LED light will light steady with short flash every 5 seconds.
Step 3. Now you can connect the app and gateway together. Press the button (the center of the gateway circle) on your gateway. The round indicator light sheds on (lights constantly) and the connection starts.
Step 1. Go to settings and gateway wireless setup in Wattle app.
Step 2. Enable Wifi
Step 3. Choose select to be able to choose from a list of available wifi-networks or put network name in SSID field.
Step 4. Fill in password of the wifi
Step 5. Choose Apply–>
If activated with correct details the yellow wifi-led of the gateway will light up.
Step 1. Go to settings and gateway wireless setup in Wattle app.
Step 2. Enable cellular
Step 3. Fill in APN from your phone-carrier.
Step 4. Fill in your username and password if required for your phone-carrier.
Step 5. Fill in PIN-code provided from your phone-carrier.
Step 6. Choose Apply–>
If activated with correct details the yellow wifi-led of the gateway will light up.
Step 1. Use a pen to press and hold the reset button as shown in the picture below.
Step 2. Release the pen when the red LED light (exclamation point) on the front of the Gateway blinked 15 x.
Step 3. The system will restart and will be ready for use again after about 5 minutes.
