The Wattle gateway is an open platform including multiple wireless networks for
communication with smart meters, sensors, smart plugs, thermostat, cameras etc.
Get connected and start the journey of smart living with Wattle.

The Gateway is developed to protect your privacy and to handle many different
wireless protocols at the same time using the principles of impending
open standars for communication.

 

How to get started

 

Installation steps
  1. Connect the power cable to the Wattle Gateway.
  2. Connect the power adapter to a wall socket.
  3. Connect an ethernet cable from the Gateway to an internet-connected
    home router.

The LED on the back panel are turned on when the system is booting.

 

Connect the app
  1. Download the app and follow the instructions

How to connect gateway to WiFi

Step 1. Go to …/More and Connectivity under Gateway settings in Wattle app.

Step 2. Enable Wifi

Step 3. Choose select to be able to choose from a list of available wifi-networks or put network name in WiFi name field.

Step 4. Fill in password of the wifi

Step 5. Choose Apply–>

Troubleshoot & Factory reset

If you need to troubleshoot and experience abnormal behaviour you can perform a reboot.

  1. Reboot your gateway. Press and hold reset button for 2 seconds. When releasing
    reset button LED flashing green to indicate reboot.

A factory reset is needed to remove abnormal behaviour. Note: This process will delete
and reset your system. You need to reconfigure all your devices after a  reset.

  1.  Locate the reset button on the back of the gateway.
  2.  Use a pen and hold down the reset button for 15 seconds.
  3.  Release the reset button after 15 seconds when you see the LED flashing blue
  4. The system will do a factory reset  and after rebooting you are ready to reconnect.
