We developed a new solution for cameras in Wattle which gives you the possibility
to use three different type of Wattle cameras in the system.
There is also several other brands on the market that offers communication over
the OnVif protocol and these cameras might also work in Wattle.
We can at present point not give any further information or guarantees about
which other producers cameras that works together with our solution but we will
gladly hear from you with your experiences.
Multigateway:

You can to your current Wattle Multigateway(dp02,dp06 & dp07) connect up
to two cameras where one can be connected to your Wattle security system
and record automatically if alarm-system gets triggered. The other camera
can be used for manual streaming and/or recording but will not be included
in alarms-system. You can also connect both cameras to manual
streaming/recording.
Boreas(x10, x20 & x30):

Wattle cameras will now be found automatically in Wattle add devices,
you only need to configure and save camera to be able to start use it in
Wattle. Also other cameras with OnVif protocol and connected to
Ethernet might work.
1. Connect ethernet-cable to camera and your network router
Wattle cameras are using QR-codes(containing user and password
for WiFi) to connect wireless.
1. Go to Cameras tab
2. Fill in username and password for WiFi
very important to use lowercase/capital letters correctly
3. Set screen-brightness to max on your phone
4. Press reset button of camera for 5 seconds until blue blink on indoor/pan tilt or until it stops blink on the outdoor camera.
5. Scan the QR code with your On-Vif Camera
6. When camera gets accepted on WiFi you will see
“Camera found” in Wattle app.
