Supress alarms

All user roles are sent alarm notifications (providing they are set up). After the alarm reason has been investigated it can be suppressed in the app pop up or by going into manage alarm on the dashboard and pressing suppress alarms page. When a sensor triggers due to fire alarms-system get active you will be notified with push-notifications, sms and/or email depending on your configuring of notifications (settings-> notifications)

Fire alarms differ a bit from burglary-alarm, this alarm can not be turned off if reason for alarm remains, so if smoke triggered the alarm you have to ventilate the sensors smoke-chamber.

N.b. some fire alarms can be silenced locally bu pushing the button on the alarm. Be sure not to do this before making sure there is no fire. If there is smoke from for example cooking food you must clear the smoke to make sure fire alarm do not start again.

When entering the Wattle app you will be fronted with the alarms activated page and which sensors triggered the alarm.

  • Blinking light to the left= Fire alarm

Here you can suppress the alarm-page, see what sensors triggered the alarm and check statistics of sensor.

if you go back, you can later access alarm active page from this dashboard-widget where you see what kind of alarm got triggered.
