Areas of use

An easy-to-use option for controlling Wattle security system. The keypad features a back-lit keypad and arming buttons, large LED status lights, The keypad also wakes and illuminates itself by detecting when a user is nearby. Can be mounted on any wall using screws or adhesive.

Get started

Step 1. Remove the plastic protector from the batteries in the keypad.

Scan for Security keypad

Step 1. Start the scan for a new device in Wattle. (Settings–>Manage devices)

Step 2. Configure the keypad. Click “Configure” on the keypad in the search result when the device is found.

Step 1. Set a device name

Step 2. Add the device to a room.

Select the room you want from the list or add a new room.

defaults to Generic

Step 3. Save Configuration  and click “Apply”.

Step 4. If the network icon is flashing (the symbol on the front of the panel at the bottom left), press the tamper switch on the back of the keyboard. The network LED will stop blinking and the key pad can now be used with Wattle.

How do I use the Security keypad

In the app:
Set the pin-code (Settings–> Manage alarms)

On the keypad:
Press the mode button(Stay/Away/Night) on the keyboard followed by pin code on the keyboard to activate alarm-mode.

Deactivate the alarm-mode:
Enter pin-code to disable the different alarm-modes.

Resetting Security keypad

Step 1. Remove both batteries

Step 2. Press and hold the tamper switch.

Step 3. Insert one battery

Step 4. Look at the front of the keypad, the lights come on and within 2 seconds you should release the tamper switch. You must release the tamper switch before the green LED for signal turns off.  If done correctly the network-symbol down to the left will start and blink, the keypad are now in pairing-mode.

Step 5. Open the app and scan for new device.When the app finds the keypad, you must “trigger” the device. Press and release the tamper switch for about one second.

Step 6. Configure the device and insert the other battery.
